Gabriel:

  • Still can't talk
  • Wakes in the night for a snack
  • Has a nap in the day time
  • Can make contextual duck/quack, woof and arrrk noises
  • Eats sand/gravel (see below)
  • Removes DVD cases from storage unit many times a day
  • Can operate the DVD player (mostly)
  • Likes to play right where you are or need to be
  • Can sometimes be quite useful (see below for details)

Take him to a beach (pic from our Nerja Holiday) and he starts eating it:

Regarding the being quite useful thing, this evening, as we were packing-up tools from the front garden he took the cold chisel and bolster (which he had been wandering about with, hitting things with and hiding all day) and went through the house, out to the back and put them nicely into the shed.

Today he got a nice bump on his head - caught a really hard whack on a door frame, leaving a vast bump and a nice mark down the centre. Thankfully no really worrying symptoms, so he should be all right in a week or so (although it should go through all the nice pretty bruise colours).

On another note, he is really liking all the things in the sky: planes, birds, helicopters and other, more imaginary things. All these are very very exciting and he must point and be very excited.
