Gabriel Mitchell

The smaller noisy one.

In which Gabriel is a baby; and falls in the pond

Not so long ago I rather hopefully got the bouncy chair down for Asa in the hope that he would happily sit in it, cooing at his brothers and leaving me free to drink tea. He doesn't, but that's a story for another website. Gabriel, on the other hand, is rather fond of the chair which reminded me rather of another young boy I once knew.

This month we have also been away to Devon to visit Nan and Grandpop and some gnomes. Gabriel travelled remarkably well (Bob and I still have nightmares about the screaming hideousness of travelling with him as a baby) and enjoyed his Thomas the tank engine story CD's that we borrowed from the library. He took well to the change of everything, and loved the fact that he got to sleep in a tent in the garden! In fact, he quite loved everything, especially the pond:

note that our first reaction was to grab the camera rather than dry him off. It's ok though, see that smile??? From such a miserable little baby has come such a lovely, lovely little boy.
