Snow

Ok yes, this one is late too! but better late than never right? And all of you Gabriel fans don't really care as long as you get some cute pictures right?? Good

Gabriel thought the snow was pretty cool. Well, from indoors that is. He spent quite a vast amount of time just looking out of various windows and pointing and saying "aaaahhhhhh" and watching the snow fall from the sky.

I figured he'd like to go outside in it. I figured wrong. He might have just been tired, it might have been the fact that he fell over and hit his head on a brick, it might have been the fact that he could barely walk because he was so togged up, it might just have been that he is grumpy. But he did NOT like the snow. We went indoors again.

Later, when Linus came home from nursery we tried him out in the snow again. It was a tiny bit better this time, but not much. Especially not when you keep falling over because the snow is too deep. And when you fall over you can't get up. And your brother is helpfully "watering" the path that you've fallen on. Hmmm.

Still, not to be defeated we wait until the next day. Reinforcements arrive in the form of Aunty Melly and we traipse outside again. Some of the snow has melted, making it easier to walk in. Gabriel has slightly fewer layers, so finds it easier to get up when he falls down. And it works! the snow is acceptable to him now! in fact, he actually likes it! especially the snowman that he helps make. He only gets cross when mummy repeatedly stops him from running into the big snowy road! Meany
